Editorial policy

Our editorial aim is to make news-reading choices clear and checkable. We value precise language, fair context and a visible distinction between what is known, what is claimed and what remains uncertain.

Accuracy and independence

We check factual statements against the material available to us and frame explanations so they do not claim more than their basis supports. Editorial decisions are made for reader understanding; commercial relationships do not determine our conclusions. We do not present commentary as established fact.

Corrections and updates

If a reader identifies a possible error, use the Contact page and specify the passage and concern. We review correction requests and, when a change is warranted, revise the text and make the correction clear. For developing subjects, we distinguish new information from changes to earlier wording.

Partners and paid material

Any sponsored or partner material is labelled clearly where it appears and kept distinct from independent editorial work. A partnership does not buy editorial approval, and we do not disguise promotional material as an ordinary article.

Illustrations and tools

Some illustrations may be generated with artificial intelligence. Where that is the case, we identify the image as AI-generated; illustrations are not presented as documentary evidence. We review visual material for its role and context.
